In celebration of Genesee & Wyoming’s 125th anniversary, today's photo is dedicated to the Huron Central Railway; one of the company's twelve Canadian operations. Here, a pair of EMDs assigned to Sault Ste. Marie to Sudbury train no. 912, spend the night at McKerrow, Ont., beneath the spectacular aurora borealis on September 18th, 2023. The following morning, no. 912 would complete the rest of its journey from 'the Soo' to 'the Big Nickel'.
