Easing down the mountain grade at Waterdown, Ont., with 12,000 tons on the drawbar, script-painted EMD SD70ACu 7014 looks phenomenal in the afternoon sun as it guides (at the time) Toronto to Buffalo train no. 246 towards the border, four years ago today, on February, 16th, 2020.

Later that evening, 7014 is seen cresting the Niagara Escarpment at Vinemount, Ont., as it charges into the setting sun on the former Toronto, Hamilton & Buffalo mainline between Hamilton and Welland.
