Rails from Above captures the railroad from perspectives rarely seen, using aerial photography to reveal the sweeping scale and geometry of rail networks. Through my drone lens, I explore the patterns, curves, and connections that define both the industrial and natural landscapes railroads traverse. Each image balances technical precision with a sense of artistry, highlighting the interplay of light, texture, and structure from a vantage point impossible on the ground. My work seeks to transform functional infrastructure into visual poetry, celebrating the rhythm, motion, and presence of railroads as they weave through cities, forests, and plains.
